#021 Spearow

Spearow are fierce little bird pokemon. They are known to form large social flock, the largest reported had fifty members. Their preferred habitats are scrublands and forests. Those that live in forests have a diet heavy on insects, supplemented by young rodent like pokemon. Scrubland spearow are on average 25% larger than forest spearow and eat mostly rodent like pokemon.

Spearow are very social pokemon nesting in large colonies. Most mate for life and will return to the same nesting site every year. Females lay a single egg in the early spring. Parents will defend their nest to the death and drive off pokemon twice their size. Few pokemon are brave enough to steal from nesting spearow. Spearow are know kill other bird pokemons fledgelings.
